Massage Holistic Therapy had a small loyal membership and an ageing non-responsive website, as well as an unsupported back-end. We rethought the project from the ground up and developed a bespoke website that supported existing members end encouraged a new target audience to seek treatment.

About The Client

Massage Holistic Therapy provides treatments which aims to relax, revive and heal the body through massage therapy. It promotes wellness, fitness and provides preventive health care that enhances a person’s natural healing.

Their problem was an old website that was not converting visitors and a booking system that was not functional. Features had stopped working, it looked and felt out of date, and was overdue an upgrade.

The strategy

As usual we discussed the primary problems the client wished to solve and once we established the companies goals we workout how to achieve them.


The aim was to encourage the current members to use the website and find new visitors. Based on the results of our research, we knew we needed to rethink the entire project from scratch, improve User Experience, SEO & Social Media presence.


Design a bookings system so customers can find the correct treatment for their problem. The website booking treatments were fully integrated with social media to improve engagement.


The huge improvement in User Experience and SEO made it incredibly simple to book, subscribe and start using the website. The restructuring of the prices and new voucher scheme has given people additional incentives to book directly from the site.

Once gain the brand identity was developed with the client who previously had the website designed, but we agreed it required significant changes for that holistic feel.













Brand identity

The logo lacked a little identity. So using the insights gained from our customer research, we developed a brand identity that was embraced the holistic health massage lifestyle.


It had just the right visual tone for their target audience, with hands delicately caressing nature and still in keeping with the style of its existing members.

Creating a personality

The logo had to be instantly recognisable, scalable and have the ability to be used across a huge range of mediums.

A strong message 

For SEO purposes we made the message as clear as it could be, “Massage Therapy”, as this was a keyword that was being heavily used in their local area with very little competition. Scrolling through the home page displayed strategically placed bookings buttons for the user and a fixed header for ease of menu access.

The mobile experience

The new website needed a good mobile user interface (UI) which made a big difference in how customers started to interact with the business on their mobile devices.

This new mobile UI improved the customers' experience by making it easier for them to navigate the website, find what they're looking for, and accomplish their tasks more efficiently. As you will see from the analytics below this led to a great ROAS (Return On Ad Spend), increased revenue as well as customer satisfaction.
